I heard about Altrusa at a church coffee hour. I was new to the area and wanted to meet some like minded community members. Once I joined I was inspired by District Workshops and Conferences, as I increased my knowledge of Altrusa and made wonderful friends from different clubs. Being on the District Board as Treasurer has been an invaluable experience, as well.
